Welcome to Franciscan Primary School, where every child is valued, every day is an adventure, and together, we achieve excellence. 

We believe in creating a safe, inclusive environment where our learners feel valued, confident, and empowered to achieve their best. As highlighted in our recent Ofsted report, our school is a "happy" place where “pupils enjoy coming to school” and are taught “to be assertive and articulate right from the start in the early years.” We provide a curriculum that is as diverse as our community, preparing our children for life in modern Britain, and enriched with unique opportunities that bring learning to life. 

Franciscan Primary is nestled in a beautiful Grade II listed building, established in 1907, right in the heart of the London Borough of Wandsworth. We cater to children aged 2-11 years and are proud of our deep roots in the community. Our beautiful grounds offer ample space for purposeful play, high-quality sports, and outdoor learning.  

At Franciscan, we pride ourselves on developing the whole child, preparing them for the next stage of their learning and life in the 21st century. Our enriched curriculum goes beyond the classroom, with enriching school trips, residentials, visiting speakers, and a range of extracurricular clubs. We want every child to have access to a rich and varied range of opportunities that promote their academic achievement, well-being, and character development.  

We are also committed to offering multiple sports fixtures and festivals throughout the year, promoting teamwork, confidence, and a healthy competitive spirit. Our goal is to create an environment where every child feels they belong, is motivated to learn, and is ready to take on the challenges of the future.
